HA booster is a non-invasive anti-ageing hyaluronic treatment designed to rejuvenate and hydrate the skin. It was developed by IBSA Pharma utilising patented NAHYCO® technology, which combines high and low molecular weight hyaluronic acid (HA) to provide a unique bioremodelling effect. HA booster contains one of the highest concentrations of hyaluronic acid, and rather than adding volume like other dermal fillers; it focuses on enhancing the skin's structure and elasticity from within.
Hyaluronic acid (HA) is a naturally occurring polysaccharide in the skin and other connective tissues. It is a key component of the extracellular matrix, providing good structural support to the skin. Additionally, hyaluronic acid attracts and retains moisture, effectively keeping the skin hydrated and plump.

HA booster works by being injected into specific points on the face and neck, known as Bio-Aesthetic Points (BAP). The BAP technique involves injecting HA booster at five predetermined points on each side of the face and 10 points on the neck. These points are carefully selected based on anatomical studies that consider the natural ageing process and the distribution of blood vessels and nerves. By focusing on these specific locations, the BAP technique ensures that the injected HA spreads evenly throughout the skin, promoting hydration, collagen, and elastin production.
Once injected, the ultra-pure HA in HA booster spreads through the skin and draws water to the skin’s deeper layers. A process called bio-remodelling takes place over the next 2-4 weeks. During this time, your skin starts producing new collagen and elastin, essential for maintaining its structure and elasticity. This dual action improves skin hydration and leads to tissue remodelling, resulting in firmer, more elastic skin.
